Hyperliquid airdrop: is there a season 2?

What happened in the first airdrop

Hyperliquid ran a points program from November 2023. It handed out 1 million points a week for six months, then 700,000 a week from May 2024 until November 2024. At the genesis event on November 29 2024, 31% of the 1 billion HYPE supply went to points holders and was fully unlocked. Another 38.8% of supply was set aside for future emissions and community rewards.

That reserve is why people expect another airdrop, but nothing official says one is coming or how it would be earned.

How the scams work

Fake "eligibility" and "claim" sites copy Hyperliquid's look and offer one button: Connect Wallet. The signature they ask for hands over your funds. They spread through replies on X, sponsored search results and DMs from accounts posing as support.

• Hyperliquid's team does not DM you first.
• Check the domain letter by letter. hyperliguid.xyz is not hyperliquid.xyz.
• Don't click sponsored search results for Hyperliquid.
• Never type a seed phrase into a website.

If you trade on Hyperliquid
